Are all Eco Camp Shop products only for camping?

Not at all. While our products are selected with outdoor adventures in mind, most are equally useful for everyday life.

Koala Bags can be used in the kitchen or lunchbox, Roo Cups can travel to work, Penguin Bottles can come to the gym, and Emu Eat can be used for everyday outings with your dog.

What are Koala Bags?

Koala Bags are reusable silicone food storage bags designed as a durable alternative to disposable food bags and containers.

Are Koala Bags safe for food?

Yes. Koala Bags are made from food-grade silicone and are BPA-free.

Are Koala Bags leak-proof?

Yes. Koala Bags are designed with a secure closure to help prevent leaks when properly sealed.

Can Koala Bags go in the dishwasher?

Yes. Koala Bags are dishwasher safe. You can also wash them with warm water and dishwashing liquid.

Can I use Koala Bags in the microwave?

Yes. Koala Bags are microwave safe when used according to the product care instructions.

Can I reuse Koala Bags?

Kooka Hydro Loop

What is the Kooka Hydro Loop?

The Kooka Hydro Loop is a lightweight wrist-mounted hydration bottle designed to keep a small amount of water within easy reach while you are moving.

How much water does it hold?

The Kooka Hydro Loop holds approximately 200ml.

How does it stay on my wrist?

It features an adjustable soft Velcro strap that can be fitted comfortably around your wrist.

How do I drink from it?

The Kooka Hydro Loop uses a bite valve, allowing you to drink while keeping the bottle attached to your wrist.

Does it collapse?

What are Roo Cups?

Roo Cups are reusable collapsible silicone drinking cups designed to give you a full-sized cup without taking up the space of traditional rigid drinkware.

How much does a Roo Cup hold?

Each Roo Cup holds approximately 375ml.

Does it really collapse?

Yes. The silicone body collapses down for compact storage and expands when you are ready to use it.

Are Roo Cups BPA-free?

Yes. Roo Cups are made from food-grade silicone and PP components and are BPA-free.

Can Roo Cups handle hot drinks?

Are Roo Cups dishwasher safe?

Can Roo Cups go in the microwave?

Emu Eat

What is Emu Eat?

Emu Eat is a reusable two-bowl silicone feeding set designed for pets on the move.

The main bowl can be used for food, while the lid flips over to become a second bowl, making it convenient for serving both food and water.

What size is Emu Eat?

The main bowl holds approximately 500ml and the lid holds approximately 250ml.

What pets is Emu Eat suitable for?

Emu Eat is particularly well suited to cats and smaller dogs. Always check the dimensions and capacity on the product page to make sure it is appropriate for your pet.

Can the lid really be used as a second bowl?

Yes. Simply remove and flip the lid to create an additional bowl for water or food.

What are Quokka Pods?

Quokka Pods are compact silicone poo bag holders designed to keep a bag easily accessible while you are out with your dog.

Where can I attach a Quokka Pod?

The clip allows you to attach it to items such as a leash, harness, backpack or bag.

What are Quokka Pods made from?

The holder is made from soft silicone with a metal clip for attachment.

Do Quokka Pods come with poo bags?

Yes. Please check the current product listing for the exact quantity included with your order.

Can I use other poo bags with the holder?

Quokka Pods are designed to work with suitable standard-sized dog waste bags. Check the product dimensions if you plan to use a different brand.

Compostable Poo Bags

What are Eco Camp Shop Compostable Poo Bags?

Our Compostable Poo Bags are designed as an alternative to conventional plastic dog waste bags.

They are strong, leak-resistant, unscented and designed for everyday dog walks and outdoor adventures.

Are they strong enough for everyday use?

Yes. They are designed to resist tearing and leaking during normal use.

Are they scented?

No. Our Compostable Poo Bags are unscented.

Do they fit standard dispensers?

Yes. They are designed to work with most suitable standard dog waste bag dispensers.

Materials & Sustainability

Are your products plastic-free?

Not every component of every product is plastic-free.

We choose materials based on their purpose, durability, safety and ability to be reused. Many of our products use food-grade silicone, while some components use materials such as PP, Tritan or metal where additional structure or strength is required.

Our focus is on reducing dependence on short-lived, disposable products rather than making unrealistic claims that every component is completely plastic-free.

Why do you use silicone?

Silicone is flexible, durable, easy to clean and suitable for repeated use, making it a practical material for products such as food storage bags, collapsible cups, bottles and pet bowls.

What are microplastics?

Microplastics are very small plastic particles that can enter the environment through the breakdown and wear of plastic materials.

Reducing unnecessary disposable plastic use is one way individuals can help reduce the amount of plastic entering the waste stream.

Do silicone products create microplastics?

Silicone is not the same material as conventional petroleum-based plastic and does not break down into conventional plastic microplastics in the same way.

Like any reusable product, however, silicone products should be cared for properly and replaced if they become significantly damaged or degraded.

Why do some products contain other materials?

Different parts have different jobs.

A flexible silicone body may work well for storage or drinking, while a closure, lid, valve or clip may require a more rigid material to function reliably.

Our goal is to balance functionality, durability, safety and reusability.

How can I reduce single-use plastic while travelling or spending time outdoors?

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. We currently offer free Australia-wide shipping on orders over $75.

Returns & Product Issues

What is your return policy?

Eligible products can be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Products must be unused, in their original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase.

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs and original shipping charges are not refundable.

What happens if my product arrives damaged, defective or incorrect?

Please contact us as soon as possible with details of the problem.

If we confirm that the product is defective, damaged, incorrect or has another verified product issue, Eco Camp Shop will assist with the return or replacement process and cover the applicable return shipping cost.

Should I replace a product if it becomes damaged?
